Sears is a department store in the USA (Sears Roebuck and Co) that used to sell everything from motorcycles to Women's dresses by mail order. They sold Gilera, Puch & Vespa under the Sears name which they imported and re-badged with their own name. The only thing they changed was the badges on the tank.  The Puch/Sears speedometer still says Puch.
