Scott founded by Alfred Angus Scott was an early and innovational manufacturer to whom we owe a lot for things like the kick starter, rotary induction valves, triangular frames and unit construction. Built in Bradford, manufacture began from 1904 until 1931 when the receiver took over. Production resumed after the second world war until 1950 when due to financial constraints production ceased. The marque resumed in 1954 until 1961, but never came to anything much.
