Virtual Motorbike Museum
- Post 1945 www.ClassicMotorcycles.org.uk Having visited various shows, museums and events with camera in hand, I have collected an assortment of photographs of different makes and models of bike, and this has been supplemented by photos from other sources in the public domain. These have been put together with some model review information to give a feel for the manufacturer. This is not an exhaustive collection and additions would be welcomed. Above the Photo's I have included a brief history of the manufacturer and if you click on the photo's they will expand for a closer view.

I have constructed a manufacturers 'Time Line' which shows the formation and merges of companies, and I feel is an interesting picture.
Another site with good content on the History of British Manufacturers has been made by Ian Chadwick Someone once made a duplicate copy site
using all my material, which I find unacceptable. |
